Prohibition.—Mr Oscar Piggott, a visitor from South Australia, is to speak on the question of prohibition in the Presbyterian Hall to-night. He comes with a great reputation as a convincing speaker, and has conducted campaigns in New South Wales, Queensland, and South Australia. He is of the order or prohibition speakers who rely on convincing argument and not abuse of the other side. As the Local Option poll will be taken at the next general elections, doubtless our readers will be pleased to hear a speaker so well informed as Mr Piggott.
