A CROWD gathered at the Shepparton Memorial Park to pay their respects to Australian Vietnam War veterans last Friday in honour of Vietnam Veterans Day. The memorial service marked the anniversary of the battle of Long Tan and this year also commemorated 50 years since the withdrawal of Australian Defence Forces from Vietnam.
