Bathing beauties... This image, from 1954, shows participants in a bathing beauties contest parading along the pier.
Last swim... This image shows local boys lining up for one final swim before the pool in the creek was decommissioned in 1968.
Shaken... Colleen Rouse thought someone was shaking her parked car when the quake happened.
What the?... Shopkeepers and customers ran out onto Melville Street as the quake shook Numurkah.
Unexpected... Numurkah is currently home to plenty of black swans who don’t give a single care for the pandemic.
Last year’s winner... Takeaway on Melville took out best dressed window for last year’s theme of he Show That Never Was.
So good they created a special category for it... Vive Hair and Beauty’s window was so good last year that it was awarded for ‘best window for children’.
